Currently melee troops inflict more damage when promoting to a higher rank, but ranged troops don't:
melee , ranged basic : 1 , 1 advanced: 1.2 , 1 elite : 1.44 , 1 champion: 2 , 2 hero : 4 , 4
The advanced and elite each get −20% spread, though.
This patch gives ranged troops +10% attack damage, however, it reduces champion and hero attack damage, making them proportional:
ranged damage, spread basic : 1 , 1 advanced: 1.1 , 0.8 elite : 1.21 , 0.64 champion: 1.5 , 0.4 hero : 2 , 0.2
While at it, also gave all javelineers the same reload time (champion infantry javelineers had 1 s instead of 1.25 s).
