Fix attack sound not playing in some cases when chasing a fleeing unit

Not sure if this is a new issue.

Units can both attack and switch to chasing on the same turn, which is bad as it breaks graphics & sounds. We should isntead 'waste' a full turn attacking, then on the next turn start chasing.

This diff does that. I believe my implementation is safe, but would like notes from Freagarach.

To replay: use the Athen melee Swordman chasing a fast unit like an archer which is fleeing away. You'll see that on SVN no sound gets played and the animation is extremely short. With this diff, the animation remains short, but less so and sound is played.

There is and there isn't. This particular problem stems from rP24797.
The issue is that our turns have distinct steps but take 0 graphical time, so if something starts on turn Start and ends on Turn end, it (to the sim) took 200ms, but to graphics 0ms. So things need to happen in a precise order, and that precise order isn't correct at the moment.

Here's a graph:


StartAttacking is called during the purple bar. Pre-rP24797, the unit would both move and start attacking -> broken. Now, the unit spends turn N-2 moving, turn N-1 attacking for 200ms, then turn N attacking for 200 more ms.
But here lies the issue: because we immediately go in StopAttacking, we start Chasing right away, and thus we move right away: the animation goes from attack to movement, and the unit has both attacked and moved on the same turn > broken.
Instead, we must enforce that the unit spends the full 200ms of turn N attacking, and only then can it stop attacking and start moving. That's what the patch does.

Basically, you have to imagine that there is a single, unique "time left to do stuff" in a single turn that gets decremented from 200ms to 0ms by attacking (technically 150ms since prepare time of sword is 350ms), and so after attacking the unit should have 0 time for moving, and thus wait a turn. But in practice we don't have this single timer variable, and so we must simulate it for now.

Here's a replay showing the actual bug: the cav makes no sound.

Edit: Using D4154, the melee cavalry appears to have done less damage to the fleeing camel judging by the point at which it crosses the red line.

Alas, it seems this is a necessary evil than, at least for now. If the chasing isn't worse than in A24b, I guess we'll have no choice.

Well, that's the thing: the chasing is worse than in A24b, because units are slower. A24b actually has the bug. I'm gonna ask on the forums what players prefer, I think.

For balancing reasons, I prefer the left version, which I understand is the current SVN setup. Right looks like it will be a big nerf to melee cav in cav fights and allow units like archer cav to too easily escape.

Also, if this bug was already present in a24 then the fact that we are just now learning about it indicates that it isn't a huge/common/frequent problem.

I say just leave it for now and deal with it later. Then again, I don't play with sound, so I'm not a good judge of how problematic the lack of sound currently is.

Edit: what would the balancing fix be? Make melee units faster? That seems like it might have unintended consequences against inf.

Well, that and/or making archers slower.
The ultimate fix would be to allow units to attack while moving, obviously, but that's still some ways off.

And once we get the ability to do the ultimate fix we hopefully already have the units balanced, so the speed differences won't ever go away if we balance it correctly.
