The patch hides enemy (allies are completely untouched) unit statistics, statusbars and enemy diplomacy if the Espionage tech hasn't been researched.
When players scout and meet an enemy structure, you will get a clickable notification with a sound cue of the location of the found structure.
It will also unlock some info in the diplomacy panel of that player.
To reward scouting, players are only considered seen if they found an enemy structure, not a unit.
Players are unable to view other civilizations in the civilization overview unless they are observers or have the tech.
Blocked unit stats:
- HP - values will be ? and the hp bar won't move
- PlayerName - "?"
- Disabled right mouse click on enemy unit/structure portrait
- Removed the in-depth stats mouseover icon
- Removed experience and rank
- Unit name will tell players to research Spy Tech
- Statusbars won't show
Diplomacy blocked stats:
- Initially all (PlayerColor too) but PlayerName.
- Scouting unlocks PlayerColor, Civ.
Espionage Tech unlocks all info, even of unmet players in the diplomacy window.
The sound cue is obviously not set in stone, just did something simple.
