Summary

The range nerf to cunobelin in D395 wasn't enough. It needs to be less HP/s since we can still pack 100 cavalry units into that aura range easily and they gain health while fighting a just slightly lesser force.
As argued by nigel87, the mauryan hero healer is currently useless in comparison to cunobelin, because cunobelin can affect 100 times more units simultaneously.
So he should receive that aura too and would become an actual choice.

I don't agree. That's not because there is an heal thing that it should be the same.
One is a healer which has other auras, the other is a fighter with an healing aura.
I would be for emphasizing the other aura of the first one (and perhaps it's active healing ability).

Replay started after rejoin, but what convinced me was seeing PhyZic with 75 citizen sword cavalry fighting 50 units including 30 spear infantry champions and gaining HP while doing so. D395 didn't do anything as all those units were in that range.
Tried to reprodue in a replay and it seems it was more the armor tech + lanchesters law. Without the armor upgrades, all of the sword cavalry died and 20 of 30 champ infantry survived (without having trained support units). With the armor upgrades, all of the champions died and varying the cunobelin aura between 0 and 1 didn't change anything!


I'm still convinced it's too much health gained per second, so 0.7/0.8

(It's still cunobelins aura, it was just svn cpied to the maur hero. The golden filename is the source, the white one is the target, so it's all ok.)

Wasn't sure whether 0.75 or 0.5 is better. But since it heals all the time, especially while moving and while fighting, it is really useful.

Still don't trust these guys, 50% is an extreme change usually and we still didn't nerf boudicca.
Then again non-sequitur, having 0.5HP/s for 100 units is still more useful than having units all the time near a temple and if Boudicca will become the #1 choice again, we have to nerf boudicaa, not make this guy OP too.

I'll go with a 30% nerf, one of the number I've always found good when nerfing things. Better make it two small nerfs than one that is too big.

The mauryan guy can receive 0.8, so that it's still more worth than cunobelin with regards to healing, as it can't move as fast, while still considering that most of the time, the army will be gathered around him.
