Either choice would be better.

Would you be willing to accept suggestions and comments on grammar, wording and phrasing; or would you deem that out of scope for a ticket on spelling and typos?

We might not want to wait with the typos to save some translation work if that suggestion will be followed.

(Also we usually add all contributors to the credit files. translators.json would fit best for this proposal, but it is generated from a bot that pulls the names from transifex as far as I know.
Fixing a missing or bad translation on transifex would solve that though)

We have to be careful with such a rewrite: the tutorial was written for people which have never played such a game before, and are not used to its mecchanisms, and i think it is important to explain them from scratch. The few comments I've seen on the forums were from people which already mastered this or other similar game and which were not the primary target of this tutorial. Of course, some sentences can be a bit shortened, but reducing them to a very short sentence as proposed on the forum would miss its purpose.
If there is nonetheless such a demand, we could add for each goal a "shortInstruction" with an option for people to choose the short or detailed one.
