I really like this idea, and it would make fire a lot more interesting. To keep fire from being overpowering, is there a way to extinguish a burning unit?

In general I think bolt/ artillery towers could be an interesting element in the game, but I'm not convinced that adding them to the macedonians without a bigger concept of how different civilizations should play is a good idea.

Make the towers available as upgrades to the defense tower, increase the build time, and decrese the minimum range of the ballista tower.

I could change it make them available as an upgrade, I know they were before they were removed. Do you mean that they should only by available as an upgrade, or available as an upgrade in addition to being buildable? I would prefer to keep them available as standalone structures, but adding an upgrade seems like a good idea.

I also like the idea of having some form of stealth in the main game. Ideally, in my opinion, units could have a stealth component that made them invisible, rather like in Hyrule Conquest. However, the template would also define a stealth radius. If any non-ally unit came within that distance from the unit, the unit would be revealed. The unit would also be revealed when attacking or taking damage. This is the way that Zero-K does stealth, and I think it works very well.

Changing the default parameter to -1 fixes that problem, although it seems like a hacky solution.

Set the default parameter to -1, this will prevent it from automatically switching the unit to player 1 when no parameter is specified.
