No longer possible to capture targets, might be related to this line (337 default.cfg):

attackmove = Ctrl            ; Modifier to attackmove when clicking on a point

Yeah, I saw the fix.

I found another scenario, if a building is being captured by the enemy, and you press Ctrl to try to garrison and avoid them taking it, it doesn't work, at that point it becomes a race to capture it while you still own the building. I think the player should still be able to garrison, but since the modifier for capturing and garrison is now the same, capturing takes precedence

Does that mean you can’t garrison if an enemy player starts to try to capture your building? That seems like it would be a pretty huge problem for defensive buildings like forts, towers, and CCs.

I still agree with this change that for new players it is actually better, what about the linter warnings?

You can help by testing the pach for errors.

  • Does patrolling still function?
  • Can one attack-move and do units show the expected behaviour?
  • Is it still possible to capture targets?

Was playing and got these errors:
ERROR: Mismatch between model's skeleton and animation's skeleton (46 model bones != 49 animation keys)

Fixed most of them but i can't recognize the mismatch model. Do you know where the model mismatch happens?

gui/session/input.js line: 863 is failing when trying to select individual units or structures, click an drag for selecting works correctly double clicking or single click doesn't work

Did you compile or use the most recent, outdated exe file?

I use whatever comes down when I update from SVN. I've been testing the game for while every time there are changes I test. I went to the IRC channel and then came over here. I'm glad this is the right place. I didn't compile it the source gonna try to do that now

If you're using the old .exe file, then this will certainly be the cause of the error and might want to wait some days until we have fixed our build systems and committed the new one to svn.

Make sure to accept the commit once you can confirm that it works
