In English it's common usage to use Latin spelling for Greek names. This was not always done correctly in the quotes (e.g. Kroisus and Kroisos instead of Croesus); this patch removes the inconsistencies.
Furthermore, in line with correct English orthography, the hyphen-minus:
* is kept (-) where it is used as a hyphen
* replaced by the en-dash (–) where it indicates a number range or a parenthetical expression
* replaced by the em-dash (—) where it indicates a quote
Also replaced programmer's quotes ("catclaws") with proper opening and closing quotation marks (“...”). Titles ought to be in italics, but I'm not sure if and how that's supported.
