In English it's common usage to use Latin spelling for Greek names0 A.D. This was not always done correctly in the quotes (e.g.has (partial?) Unicode support, Kroisus and Kroisos instead of Croesus);therefore user-facing text strings should be properly typeset, this patch removes the inconsistencies.
Furthermore, in line with correct English orthography, the hyphen-minurather than be limited to ascii-only characters; see also https://trac.wildfiregames.com/wiki/EnglishStyleGuide#Unicode
This patch replaces:
* is kept (-) where it is used as a hyphen* programmer's quotes (") with proper opening (“) and closing (”) quotation marks
* replaced by the en-dash (–) wher * actually book titles ought to be it indicates a number range or a parenthetical expressionalicized instead, but I don't know if that's already possible
* replaced by the* hyphens (-) with em-dashes (—) where it indicates a quotefor attribution of a quote source; also displays a new line (`\n`) for better readability
Also replaced programmer's quotes ("catclaws") with proper opening and closing quotation marks (“...”). Titles ought to be in italics, but I'm not sure if and how that's supported.* hyphens (-) with en-dashes (–) in number ranges
* hyphens (-) with en-dashes (–) when punctuating a sentence
Example how it looks like in game:
