Summary

The snap-to-edge feature is really convenient and rarely feels like a drag. It makes it faster to place buildings, and IMO should be enabled by default.

As a reminder, this can be changed in the options, and you can always use "Ctrl" to reverse the behaviour.

Test Plan

Agree with me.

While I like the snapping possibility, I also like freely placing things at aesthetically pleasing angles and distances. Having to press Ctrl to activate snapping is less inconvenient than having to press Ctrl to deactivate it, especially when I'm already rotating foundations by pressing [ or ].

Especially rotating is a strong point, IMHO. (Snapping resets rotation.)
