GCC 7.5 crashes with C++17 and O3 in the renderer... Sometimes, when moving the camera.
From investigations with Stan, it appears that aligning the arena allocator to 8 bytes (void* alignment) fixes it.
It's certainly misaligned sometimes right now since we occasionally allocate only 4 bytes, so that feels like a good idea in general.
I'm not certain why GCC8 fixes it.
