All GUI elements are rendered in Z order so we don't need to use depth test, in GUI it was only as a hack to clip elements. For that purpose scissors or masks should be used.

I could not apply this patch via Arcanist, it showed me this error

After applying the patch for CGUI.cpp manually, I could compile the game. rP25228+D3835
I noticed no changes to the GUI, except by clicking the MENU, the tooltip is behind the dropdown, this behavior can not be reproduced for A24b.
