Currently there are five technologies available at the market:
- traders +25% movement speed
- traders +2 resistance
- traders +10% gain
- traders +15% gain
- trade structures +10% international bonus
This patch changes them:
- Deleted, because it was by far the most effective, about as good as the two gain technologies combined, but cheaper than either.
- Changed to +50% health (two resistance levels was equivalent to about +23%), cost changed to 300 food, excluded merchant ships (who already benefit from ship technologies), and made available in the town phase.
- Gain increase to +15%, slightly more expensive, different icon.
- Unchanged.
- Unchanged.
Altogether this makes means you have c. +33% more income when fully researched, instead of c. +58% previously, decreasing the advantage of the rich over the poor.
