just another one of my old ideas/patches. I always found it strange that trees just pop out of existence and since I won't make death animations for them, this is an experiment using the ship sinking animation.
What this patch does:
Trees are now alive / have an actual health component.
Once the tree is dead, we have a nice "tree falling" animation and a separate interactable tree trunk is spawned, which is the actual resource supply.
This would allow for some funny things down the line, as catapults removing trees, but also has some downside:
we would need to introduce a separate "chop/axe/cut tree" attack, which has the current axe animation, so that units won't attack the trees using their normal weapons.
And it breaks the AI for some reason (but UnitAI works)
